Club Brugge has announced on Thursday its management team to strengthen with Bob Madou. He will be as a Senior Marketing Partner the brand Club Bruges further developed. Madou will his new job at Club Brugge and combine with his current job as a brand strategist for the VRT.
The Team describe the mission of the Madou as follows: “together with the existing teams, the brand Club Brugge continue to develop as a love-brand for our fans, and as a creative partner for our sponsors.”
The 37-year old West-Flemish citizen can not wait for his command to begin. “It is a privilege to be as a native of bruges and Club Bruges-fan at heart, my professional contribution to be able to contribute to this club,” explains Madou on the website of blue-black. “I have the company Club Brugge to know as a very stable football club with a well-thought-out organization of sporting and economic results, and so many Belgians touches. I look forward to my view on brands in these fast-changing times to realize, together with the penalty people today on Club work.”
Also manager Vincent Mannaert showed himself to be enthusiastic. “I know Bob had a partnership with Club Brugge and was never far away”, put Mannaert from the shore. “His experience as a manager in professional sports environments in the country and abroad, in combination with his expertise as a brand strategist for sports and media brands make him a unique profile that Club Brugge is not yet in the ranks. His blue-black heart completes the picture and we look very forward to being together to fly.”
Madou was the past years to work for the Belgian football association. Between november 2011 and October 2016, he was director of strategy and communication. Previously he also worked for three years as Performance Manager for the British tennis federation.
