Dries Vanthoor (Audi R8 LMS) is Saturday in the 24 Hours of Dubai, the first round of the 24-Hour GT Series, on the seventh place finishes. The Porsche 991 GT3 R of Otto Klohs, Lars Kern, Mathieu Jaminet and Sven Müller beached on the second place, two laps of the winner. Mark Ineichen, Rolf Ineichen, Christian Engelhart and Mirko Bortolotti completed with their Lamborghini Huracan GT3 on stage 9.275 seconds of the Porsche.
Tom Boonen to finish 47th
The Belgians finished Nico Verdonck (Ford GT3 Lambda) as fifteenth on 22 rounds. Raphaël van der Straten, Grégory Paisse and José Close (MARC Focus V8) were 29th in 57 rounds. Pierre-Yves Paque and Jean-Michel Gerome (Porsche 991 Cup MRI) ended up as the 40th in 81 rounds, while Jimmy De Breucker, Mario Timmers, Rodrigue Gillion and Tom Boonen (BMW M235i) with the 47th position in 91 rounds satisfied. Anthony Lambert (Audi RS3 LMS) was 61st on 115 rounds and Nicolas Saelens (Porsche 991 GT3 R) 68th 136 rounds.
