Wout van Aert (Crelan-Charles) may, for the third year in a row, the Belgian champion in cyclo-cross. The 23-year-old Van Aert took the Sunday in Koksijde in solo for Laurens Sweeck and the surprising Daan Soete. Van Aert also wrote the previous two years, in Lille and Ostend, the Belgian championship to his name. Three in a row, however, is not a record, four riders did in the past all better.

1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988 and 1989.

2) Sven Nys: 9 Belgian titles
