Fifteen professional clubs have Thursday the Pro League+ label for 2017 received, so made the Pro League Friday known.
The Pro League+ label is assigned to Pro League clubs over the past year, a high-quality communitywerking set up on the basis of a policy document with attention for the local context, sustainable partnerships and valuable activities. AA Gent, Club Brugge, Waasland-Beveren, OHL, KV Mechelen Racing Genk and KV Kortrijk, Westerlo, Lokeren and KV Oostende Lierse, Standard, Charleroi, Roeselare and Antwerp were given the label.
The labels are the successors of the Pro League+ Awards, which over the last three seasons were presented. “Because in the meantime the number of clubs with a strong communitywerking is grown, it was decided that the concept of the Awards to each club with a strong or growing communitywerking to be rewarded,” says Stijn Van Bever, CSR-manager of the Pro League.
