The American company Amazon has the worldwide rights of the television series the New Neighbors brought in. The series, which is based on the book by Saskia Noort, will so in all likelihood, a foreign remake.
The series is since 2014 on the Dutch tv and it was a success for RTL 4 and Videoland. There is now a third season in the making, that in 2018 to see. Earlier this year the Dutch version aired by the British Channel 4.
Amazon Prime
The American powerhouse Amazon has now managed to acquire the worldwide rights. The purchase is part of the label Amazon Prime brings EU tv-shows to the world. It is not yet known when Amazon starts production and who will be in the series will play out.
