Stoke City will “probably three to four weeks” without goalkeeper Jack Butland. That has assistant-manager Mark Bowen explained on the site of the Premier League club. Butland broke last week during a training session of the English national team a finger.
“The injury to heal, that is the most important thing”, said Bowen. “I’m not a doctor, but such an injury can take between three and six weeks. But we hope for a rehabilitation of three to four weeks.”
Stoke is after eleven days on the fourteenth place in the Premier League. Butland was in each competitieduel this season under the crossbar. Lee Grant him Monday in the next game against Brighton more than likely replaced.
