Sony has announced that the first two God of War games will be released as the GOW Collection for the PS3 this holiday season. The Blu-ray disc collection will contain both games in 720p (for all you hi-def nerds) and will get people stoked for the March 2010 release of God Of War III. With a $39.99 price point this is a hard deal to pass up.

I may have to pick this up when it comes out. I got a PS3 yesterday and don’t have any games for it yet, just blu-rays to watch. GOW1 and 2 were badass, correct?
I just bought a PS3 a few days ago too. The God of War games were amazing. Well worth the purchase. I bought 3 games when i bought my PS3. “MLB 09 the Show”, “Ratchet and Clank” and “Metal Gear Solid 4”. Ratchet and Clank is an amazing game if you like platform games in the vein of Crash Bandacoot and Mario Galaxy, plus it is a greatest hits game so it is only $29.99
GOW 1 and 2 are great games. I have xbox 360 so I miss out on them now.
