For all I have known, this guy could have been dead. The last sizable role that he has had (probably for the better) was in “Night at The Museum” in 2006 (no “August Rush” nor “License To Wed” don’t count). I was kinda thinking that Hollywood had finally put their foot down after “RV”, “Man of The Year”et al. But I was wrong, he has just found a new way to sicken us with his modern acting skills. He will play a serious role on the 200th episode (sick) of “Law & Order: SVU” set to air this April. Sounds like a true benchmark in his career. Why you ask, am I reporting this? Well I guess it is just sad to see the guy who played great roles from when I was growing up (“Good Morning Vietnam”, “Awakenings”, “Dead Poets Society”, The voice of the Genie in “Aladdin”) has deteriorated to such dribble. Put a fork in him folks, he is done.
